HIVE Digital Technologies has reported a substantial surging in mining capacity, reaching a 283% growth with prospects of hitting 25 EH/s by Thanksgiving. The firm not only expanded its production despite the Bitcoin slump, but also achieved 2% of the global Bitcoin network, achieving a daily mining of 9 BTC, surpassing 20 EH/s. The Bitcoin production, which hit a significant 247 BTC, boosted HIVE's surge by 8%. Additionally, the firm has reported a year-to-date high Bitcoin production improved by HPC Data Center upgrades. In contradiction, other miners seem to stumble amid two pieces of news contributing to the continuous Bitcoin sell-off. HIVE’s CFO debunked a myth regarding Bitcoin provenance, stating there was no guaranteed way to track a coin's energy source.
HIVE Digital has commenced Bitcoin mining alongside AI infrastructure expansion in Paraguay, a promising move for their stock, particularly with record Q2 results driven by Bitcoin production and BUZZ HPC increase. Furthermore, HIVE predicts a 3% share of global Bitcoin production. The acquisition of a 32.5-acre site for a Tier III+ HPC site is expected to accommodate 25,000 GPUs. Notably, it aims to double its capacity by the year-end, crossing 10 EH/s in May. Amid Bitcoin's value slipping below $90K, the firm continues posting significant growth, with AI contributions propelling further expansion. The prompt launch of a documentary on Paraguay’s hydro-powered Bitcoin mega-mine alongside the growing shares of public crypto companies, including Coinbase, Riot, and HIVE, are significant markers of the company’s strategy in green Bitcoin mining and AI. The inclusion of HIVE among the BTC miners presents an exciting rally as they narrow the hashrate divide together with Cipher and Bitdeer. Another essential mention is the partnership between Powerhive and Telcoin on a blockchain-powered mobility financing platform.
