Hive Digital has announced plans to build a massive Bitcoin mining facility in Paraguay, marking their first expansion into the country. Despite potential energy price increases, the firm remains committed to their operation, unveiling plans for a 100-Megawatt mining site. This drove HIVE Digital's stock to rally over 9%, bolstering their crypto reserves to 2.5k BTC. The company is also involved in educating about crypto, announcing the FUD Fighters Educational Initiative in partnership with Bitcoin Magazine. Recent performance showed a decline in Bitcoin production rates and HIVE shares, though their stock jumped 9% when miners bought BTC during price dips. AI integration is another strategic focus for HIVE, as it aims to intensify Bitcoin mining efficiencies using high-performant AI technologies and Nvidia GPUs. The company is also diversifying into other business areas, strategically stocking up on Antminer s19K Pro machines ahead of the upcoming Bitcoin halving. Despite the back and forth between highs and lows, HIVE's annual revenue reached $114.5 Million with an adjusted EBITDA of $37.5 Million. The company has 2,287 Bitcoin on its balance sheet and mined 3,123 Bitcoin since March 31, 2024. HIVE's recent decision to drop 'blockchain' from their name reflects their pivot towards AI technology.
