Some of the acquisitions include merge Georgia-based Winder Insurance Center, the assets of Texas based Collum Insurance Group, Florida based Mitchell Agency, and H.G. Ellis Agency based in New York. Additionally, they accrue NW presence by acquiring Columbia Insurance.
Moreover, they expanded their marine expertise by acquiring Dudek Insurance Agency Group and launched a new subsidiary with a newly-appointed CEO, Goodreau, under Brightstone.
Meanwhile, reports indicate there are concerns about the high street having an identity crisis with several high street shops are closing due to 'unfair' business rates and declining footfall. There are also reports of high street banks being considered for sales due to the rapid digital transformation in banking.
Concerns about the high street extend beyond these acquisitions and business closures to physical changes.
