Highstreet, a notable entity in the insurance market, has expanded its coverage and subsidiaries with new partnerships and acquisitions. Alongside Michigan's
Wingert Insurance Agency, Florida's
Flagler Insurance Agency and Kentucky's
RISE Partners have been absorbed, strengthening Highstreet's presence and scope substantially. It has also welcomed analytics expert
Zerman as a new data leader.
CIVC Partners have become stakeholders in the company while
Hoaster Gebhard deal marks Highstreet's fourth acquisition of 2024. Broadening beyond insurance,
Highstreet IT Solutions is now under Highstreet's umbrella and a High Street residential JV is set to open a Houston community. In property, Highstreet has benefited from a wave of retail wins and seen the first residents move into
High Street apartments, as part of their ambitious
High Street Project. Further afoot, HSBC, Nationwide and Virgin Money were impacted by payment issues and a High Street tower facility is due at
Med Center Health, Bowling Green. However, despite such growth and expansion, Highstreet has also faced setbacks, notably on Camden High Street, and recent violent incidents in Holyoke and La Mesa have raised serious concerns.
