Balancer, a digital asset management platform, has been under a series of attacks compromising its protocol, compelling it to urge its users to cease any interaction. Incidents of hacks and the compromise of the Balancer protocol has led to crypto worth several hundred thousand dollars being stolen. Even though Balancer took steps to end the governance problems, its front end got attacked again, resulting in an even greater loss in cryptos. Leading to doubts about its credibility, and potentially contributing to token price reductions. However, not everything is bleak for the automated portfolio manager. Some unique partnerships have been formed, with EtherFi, Renzo, and Swell starting a liquid restaking pool on Balancer.
Quantum Shield, termed as the industryβs first mass-deployable quantum-safe TLS terminator and load balancer, developed by Lastwall, is now available. Balancer was challenged by a 'critical vulnerability' within its v2 pools, however, and this can strain user confidence. There is also increased focus on load Balancers in multiple capacities such as network, application, GA etc, and various updates in Azure API Management, AWS services and Fortinet's troubleshooting practices.
