A series of significant events revolve around PLN, the **Polish Zloty**. The **National Bank of Poland (NBP)** has not only issued a new collector coin showcasing **Tyniec Abbey**, but also a 19-zloty commemorative note, a coin marking the **80th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising**, and a commemorative banknote for the **Warsaw Uprising**. Special coins and notes were also issued in cooperation with **Ukrainian central bank** and in remembrance of key historical events, such as the Uprising of Warsaw. Furthermore, a new **500-zloty note** will be released in 2017, and the bank is considering a new **1,000 zloty note** as a means for citizens to store cash. Even with a crackdown on Bitcoin miners in Indonesia and an exit scam at a Polish cryptocurrency exchange, the PLN-oriented **crypto market** remains active. **Pollen DeFi**, for example, will be the first **Avalanche token** to list on AscendEX and Polish soccer clubs are beginning to accept Bitcoin for tickets and merchandise. Moreover, a set of 30 rare Polish coins sold for $3.5 million in a New York auction. In the meantime, **Kanga Exchange** is rising as the new face of the European market.
