Firstly, 'Cryptoqueen' Ruja Ignatova, the mastermind behind the OneCoin scam, was found to be still investing in Dubai properties whilst under indictment. Subsequently, OneCoin legal officer was convicted and received a 4-year prison term for partaking in the OneCoin scheme. Ignatova and her associates also faced a global asset freeze ordered by a UK court regarding their activities with the cryptocurrency.
