ZK Smart Contract on the mainnet, signaling the ecosystem may soon experience its advantages. However,
ZKSync's price future is predicted to show small growth as the hype winds down, and a sharp decline has already been noted in its network activity. Other rollouts of note include that of
crypto-native credit card on ZK-rollup Scroll by Ether.fi and QED releasing the first ZK Rollup on Dogecoin. ZK technology has also been adopted in gaming by Xsolla with the launch of
Xsolla ZK and in privacy with
Buenos Aires adding ZK Proofs to its City App. Bitcoin Rollup Citrea aims to make Bitcoin a programmable asset with ZK Proofs after raising a $14M Series A.
Coinbase made significant announcements about
ZK & WELL, and
Matter Labs unsuccessfully filed for the 'ZK' trademark.
StarkWare became the first to verify a zero-knowledge proof on Bitcoin and announced a $1 million research fund into Bitcoin's OP_CAT proposal.
Binance also listed ZKSync and launched a token distribution program alongside ZK token distribution by PancakeSwap and Polygon. Concerns are emerging around
ZK-sync's air drop, with claims that almost no Sybil filtering was involved.
