3%. Astar Network also launched its
Astar zkEVM on the Polygon AggLayer, and announced its incorporation with Polygon to take advantage of Japan's Web3 boom. It also revealed a Japanese blockchain's intent to burn
$38M of the token. In addition,
Astar zkEVM was launched in collaboration with

Casio,
Sony, and
Toyota, have formed partnerships with Astar Network, exploring Web3 use cases. The
NTT Docomo mobile-phone operator intends to invest $4B into Web3 and is working with the Astar Foundation. After an announcement of a planned listing on a major exchange, Astar's native token
ASTR surged
44%. Despite all these advancements, ASTR price has remained in a downtrend, causing some to speculate whether its recovery period is over.
